Pouring; flicking; dripping; splashing; brushing; blending; peeling; scraping; scrubbing; taping; covering; revealing.
 

I find joy in the act of painting, in the waiting of paint to dry, in the mixing of colours.
I find peace when stood before my work, paintbrush held in paint covered hands.

My painting is the coming together of all that I enjoy; Colour, form, process.
 

Influenced by Amy Sillman’s own practice and Robert Rauschenberg’s extensive experimentation with colour and object, my own practice interrogates the very act of painting, and the space created as a result.
